About Carmel Convent School

Carmel Convent School is part of the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel (CMC), a global congregation dedicated to serving society through education, social work, healthcare, and community development. Founded with a mission to uplift people, particularly women and children, the congregation has grown from a small group of four committed women to around 6,000 sisters serving across five continents. The CMC sisters contribute to various educational institutions, including schools, colleges, special education centres, vocational training centres, and technical institutions. They are also involved in supporting children with special needs, healthcare services, rehabilitation, and social welfare initiatives. The sisters serving at Carmel Convent School belong to the Carmelodaya Province, one of the provinces and regions of the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel. The school reflects the congregation’s broader commitment to education, service, values, and the holistic development of children.
